VERNEST® SP OUR KNOW-HOW AT THE SERVICE OF ARCHITECTURE

With over a century of experience, Acciai Speciali Terni is the perfect partner on which ambitious designers and architects can rely, whatever their needs may be. Coil coated Vernest® SP stainless steel combines two different personalities: it is sturdy, hygienic, easy to maintain and durable, and also offers great aesthetic appeal because it can resemble a wide range of finishes and RAL colors.

Acciai Speciali Terni produces Vernest® SP products completely “in house”, from the stainless steel substrates to varnishing in coil-coating.

VERNEST® SP IS A HIGHLY VERSATILE AND CUSTOMISABLE PRODUCT, EASILY ADAPTABLE TO MEET OUR CUSTOMERS’ MOST SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

Vernest® SP is versatile and customisable, available in any RAL colour and with any stainless steel substrate included in AST’s product portfolio. Aesthetic appearance is of primary importance, particularly in view of the material’s use with different surface finishes.

The distinctive combination of colour brightness and reflectance ensures high levels of ambient luminosity without causing glare, even under critical operating conditions (e.g. the reflection of vehicle headlights in tunnels).

The coating products and specific industrial application processes used for Vernest® SP also ensure excellent adhesion between the coating and the stainless steel substrate. This performance is maintained both during manufacturing processes, thanks to the product’s high formability, and in service when exposed to outdoor environments. Unlike conventional materials, Vernest® SP does not blister or delaminate from sheared edges in areas where the material has been cut.

Vernest® SP can be produced using any type of stainless steel. Its corrosion resistance makes it a premium product, with durability guaranteed by Acciai Speciali Terni.
