Arvedi AST operates within a local context with which it has established a strong and structured relationship, which over time has translated not only into economic and employment impacts, but also into a significant contribution to the social and cultural development of the local community. Arvedi AST\u2019s active citizenship strategy is reflected in its support for long-standing social institutions, the promotion of cultural initiatives, and support for solidarity and public health projects. Arvedi AST\u2019s approach to community relations is based on principles of social and environmental responsibility, in line with the requirements and standards of the international <strong>ResponsibleSteel\u2122<\/strong> certification. Within this framework, the company confirms its role as a responsible actor with deep roots in the local area, contributing to the creation of shared value <strong>through measurable initiatives designed to ensure continuity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Corporate welfare system<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arvedi AST\u2019s corporate welfare system, characterised by a long-standing and well-established tradition,<br \/>\nis centred in particular on the Cassa Mutua Aziendale (CMA) and the Circolo Lavoratori Terni (CLT). As a whole, it represents a key driver for promoting people\u2019s well-being, strengthening internal cohesion, and developing a strong<br \/>\nand lasting bond between the company, its workforce community, and the local area. This approach is also reflected in cultural initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing the company\u2019s historical heritage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cassa Mutua Aziendale<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Cassa Mutua Aziendale (CMA), established in 1968, provides Arvedi AST employees and their families<br \/>\nwith supplementary healthcare services in addition to those provided by the Italian National Health Service, delivered directly at the company\u2019s medical facilities or through reimbursement of external healthcare expenses. As of<br \/>\n31 December 2025, the Cassa Mutua had a total of 3,309 members, including employees, retirees, and dependent family members. During the year, 28,482 healthcare services were provided, including more than 15,500 specialist<br \/>\nconsultations, over 12,000 dental treatments, and approximately 800 physiotherapy treatments, with direct healthcare provision accounting for the majority (approximately 88%) compared with reimbursements for external services, demonstrating the high level of utilisation and effectiveness of the model. The Cassa is funded through members\u2019 contributions, while Arvedi AST provides the premises and administrative services. It is managed by a Board of Directors composed equally of company representatives and trade union representatives. The Cassa Mutua Aziendale continues to play an important role in healthcare welfare, helping to reduce waiting times for access to services and contain healthcare costs borne by employees and their families.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Circolo Lavoratori Terni<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Circolo Lavoratori Terni<br \/>\n(CLT), founded in 1927, is the Arvedi Group\u2019s main sports and social welfare organisation in the Terni area, open not only to Arvedi AST employees but also to the entire local community. As of 31 December 2025, CLT membership<br \/>\nhad reached 11,382 members (Arvedi AST employees, retirees, external members, and their respective family members), who can access the Circolo\u2019s services on preferential terms. Through the Polisportiva CLT, it promotes sporting<br \/>\nactivities across 13 disciplines, involving more than 1,060 competitive athletes. The Circolo has strengthened its role as an important component of the corporate and local welfare system, promoting competitive and amateur sports, cultural and science outreach activities, recreational activities, and educational projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Welfare plan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Through a dedicated digital platform, Arvedi AST provides its employees with a broad range of flexible benefits, allowing them to independently manage welfare credits deriving from the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the metalworking industry, company-level agreements, and the conversion of the Performance Bonus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Corporate Heritage and cultural enhancement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arvedi AST promotes its historical and cultural heritage as a means of strengthening corporate identity and employees\u2019 sense of belonging. For more than twenty years, the Company has promoted the preservation of its industrial heritage through a structured Corporate Heritage programme, with the Historical Archive and Historical Library serving as its key pillars of identity.
