'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>444Nb is a ferritic stainless steel with 19%Cr and 2%Mo, with single stabilization with Nb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to its particular chemical composition, 444Nb stands apart from the 444 grade for its enhanced resistance to high temperatures and cyclic oxidation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heat resistance is crucial in the hot end exhaust system<\/strong>, because CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions actually decrease when components are able to reach higher temperatures. All this makes the 444Nb a particularly suitable stainless steel for this application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>444Nb\u2019s excellent mechanical properties <\/strong>and good <strong>formability and weldability<\/strong> make it possible to achieve <strong>thinner thickness<\/strong> and more complex geometries. These contribute to making cars lighter, which in turn has a positive impact on fuel consumption and <strong>reduces the emissions of CO<sub>2<\/sub> <\/strong>and other polluting
